Nothing could be less certain: Pom, Flore, Arthur and Alexandre have not received a reply to the letter penned by Zéphir in his finest hand. Moved by their disappointment, Babar embarks on a journey to the old gentleman’s grotto in Europe. There are many obstacles along the way – from false trails to snowball fights in the forests of Bohemia. We last saw Shani Diluka engaging with Marcel Proust and Francois Morel has been immersed in the world of Raymond Devos. They are reunited here to blend the imaginary world of Jean de Brunhoff with the songs of Joseph Kosma in a matinée performance that will thrill young and old alike.
