About
Yoav Levanon is an alien from planet piano. Born in 2004, he made his stage debut at the age of six, played his first Rachmaninov concerto at 13, and gave his first recital at Verbier at 15, where he was the talk of the Festival. Two years later, he performed at Piano aux Jacobins, then at the Fondation Louis Vuitton concerts and finally at Radio France in the autumn of 2021 with an unusually demanding programme for such a young performer (Chopin, Liszt, Ravel…) before his first recital on last season on avenue Montaigne. He is fearless and has a voracious appetite for his instrument. To prove this point, for his new recital he has put together a programme of Chopin and Rachmaninov with a little appetizer in the form of some gems by Schumann.
