About

The small number of appearances in France to date by this Russian, who won First Prize in the Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in 2015, have met with unanimous praise and approbation. This was certainly the case with a breathtaking Concerto No. 1 by Tchaikovsky performed with the National in 2020, and his first recitals at La Roque-d’Anthéron, the Philharmonie de Paris, and also at the Théâtre. He is back for his third visit to avenue Montaigne, where so many of his great predecessors have performed and is presenting a programme devoted to “classics” by Mozart and Beethoven, and by his compatriot Prokofiev.
