Francesco Piemontesi | piano

Francesco Piemontesi is sensitive to clarity and chiaroscuro, a quality which should yield wonderful results with Debussy and Beethoven.

About

Some described his last concert at the Théâtre as “miraculous”. Francesco Piemontesi is indeed a true heir to Brendel and Radu Lupu. After exploring the world of Schubert in recent years, he is now tackling the monumental Beethoven with the Waldstein sonata and opus 109 no less. In the first half, we have the second book of Preludes by Claude Debussy of whom he is an absolutely outstanding performer: a true emissary.
